Wealthy Theatre, a service of CMC, was restored by the neighborhood, and remains a community venue to this day. This historic landmark is nearly 100 years old, but one of the most technologically advanced community theatres in the country.
A "community use" venue, Wealthy Theatre is content neutral, and all responsibility for productions lies with the community member presenting the event.

Square Dancing
We're a gay square dancing group located in Grand Rapids, Michigan! Are you looking for some fun people to socialize and square dance with? Our club has about 40 members, both male and female. The club is open to anyone who is interested in square dancing.

COMMON LENS: Genetically Modified Food: Panacea or

Summer Arts Camp 2008 Performance
Approximately 50 youth, ages 8 to 12, who are participants in the Grandville Avenue Academy for the Art's Summer Arts Camp will perform in dance, music and theatre. The performance is an end-of-camp celebration and arts festival highlighting the cross-cultural activities that the youth participated in over the duration of the 2-week camp. An art exhibit displaying the art and clay projects made by the youth will also be part of the arts festival.

Jake's Music Festival
Jake’s Music Festival is a combination of great music and a great cause. For the fourth consecutive year, local bands will get together for a concert to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The Festival was started by Tom and Mary Scheidel of Rockford and named for their son Jake, who was diagnosed with Type 1 or juvenile diabetes 11 years ago when he was only six.
